A hard reset, also known as a factory reset, will delete all information on a device and restore the software back to it’s original manufacturer settings. A hard reset should only be done if absolutely necessary as it removes all data from your device. Perform a hard reset if your Samsung Galaxy J7 Core is experiencing any of the following issues:

First Method
Step 1

 

Ensure that your Samsung Galaxy J7 Core is turned off by pressing the power button.

Step 2

 

Press and hold the Volume Up + Home + Power button, until you see Samsung logo.

Step 3

 

Once the Samsung Galaxy logo appears, release the all buttons. If you see the Android Robot with “No Command” just wait patiently for the Recovery Menu

Step 4

 

From the Recovery Mode menu select “wipe data / factory reset“. Use the Volume buttons to navigate and the Power button to confirm.

Step 5

 

On the next screen, choose “Yes — delete all user data” and press the power button to confirm the whole operation.

Step 6

 

Select the “reboot system now” to reboot your device..

Congratulations! The device has been restored to factory defaults.

 

Second Method
Step 1

Power on your device by pressing the power button

Step 2

From the Home Screen go to Menu and then to Settings.

Step 3

Click on Backup & reset and then Reset device.

Step 4

Click on Erase everything to confirm.

Congratulations! The device has been restored to factory defaults.
