Per Academic year
We believe education is paramount in shaping the future of our society. Therefore Swopsmart, one of the top smartphone buyback company has created the Swopsmart Scholarship Initiative to award a $2000 scholarship to the winner. Our hope is to be able to alleviate some of the financial burden students face when paying for college related expenses.
Swopsmart aims to provide one scholarship per academic year. Applicants are encouraged to apply once every year. However, winners are only eligible to receive the Swopsmart Scholarship one time.
Swopsmart is a small company that is looking to transcend the way we, as a society, dispose of old devices. Our goal is to provide an easy and efficient way for our customers to sell their used devices at a fair trade in value without the fear of being deceived or cheated. We pay top dollar for all devices while still providing the fastest turn around time on payments online.
Eligibility
The Swopsmart National Scholarship application begins on February 19th, 2020 and ends on December 14th, 2020. If you fulfill the categories below, you are eligible to apply.
**Scholarship funds are paid directly to the school.
Procedure
Applicants are asked to answer one of the following questions:
• What is the best smartphone of 2020, and why?
• What are your favorite and least favorite technology products, and why?
• Can you explain swopsmart.com in simple terms?
Applicants must create their response in one of the following formats:
Word Document
Essay(Between 300-500 words)
Blog Post
(No limitations)
Video
(Up to two minutes video)
Audio Recording
(Up to two minutes audio)
We do not want to set any limitations on your response and encourage applicants to be creative.
All applicants must complete the application form.
If your response is a word document, blog post, or audio recording, please upload along with your application form.
Video responses need to be posted via YouTube. In your application, please provide your YouTube video link.

Selection
All submissions must be completed by Dec 14th at 11:59pm EST.
All applications will be reviewed by the Swopsmart Scholarship Initiative Committee to determine the winner.
The winner will be notified via email on January 4th, 2021. A check will be mailed directly to the scholarship recipient's college of enrollment.
