Track your package with the tracking number on the label or via your account. Once your package arrives, it's scanned into our system before day's end — from there our notification system keeps you posted throughout the process via email and SMS (if selected).

Give it a little time. Packages are scanned into our system by the end of the day, and your offer will update once that happens. If it's been longer than that with no change, reach out and we'll track it down for you.

What happens if my device is in better condition than I selected?
Good news for you. If inspection finds your device is in better condition than you selected, we'll increase your offer and pay you the higher amount.
Can I decline a revised offer?
Absolutely. A revised offer is never final until you accept it. You can decline it and have your device shipped back to you free of charge. No pressure, no obligation.
Will you return my device if I decline the revised offer?
Yes. If you decline a revised offer, we'll ship your device back to you free of charge. You won't pay a thing.
Identify your device
Before we can quote you, we need to know exactly which device you have. Pick your brand below and we'll show you where to find it.
iPhone
Go to Settings > General > About. Your Model Name and Capacity are both on this page — that's everything you need to search with.
iPad
Go to Settings > General > About. You'll find Model Name, Model Number, and Capacity here.
Apple Watch
On the iPhone paired to your watch, open the Watch app > My Watch > General > About and find Model Number.
You'll see a part number starting with "M" first. Tap it once and it flips to the model number starting with "A." Drop that number into Apple's Identify your Apple Watch page to get the exact series, size, and version.
MacBook
Click the Apple menu > About This Mac for your model name and serial number.
Galaxy phone
Go to Settings > About phone for your device name and Model Number. Samsung model numbers look like SM-S928U.
For storage, go to Settings > Device care > Storage. On older versions of One UI this is under Battery and device care > Storage.
Galaxy tablet
Go to Settings > About tablet for the Model Number and other device info.
For storage, go to Settings > Device care > Storage (or Battery and device care on some One UI versions).
Galaxy Watch
On the watch, open Settings > About watch — depending on the model this may be called About device or About band. You'll find the Model Number, serial number, and other details there.
You can also pull this up in the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.
Google Pixel
Go to Settings > About phone and look for Model.
For storage, go to Settings > Storage, which shows total capacity and how much you're currently using.
OnePlus
Go to Settings > About device for your Model.
Storage lives under About device > Storage. Menu names shift a little depending on your OxygenOS version.
Motorola
Go to Settings > About phone and look for Model, Model & hardware, or Device details — the wording varies by Android version. You want the Model Number (SKU).
For storage, go to Settings > Storage.
Other Android
Android menus vary by manufacturer, but Settings > About phone is almost always the right place to start. Look for Model, Model & hardware, or Device details.
For storage, try Settings > Storage. Some manufacturers tuck it elsewhere — Samsung puts it inside Device care.
Laptops (Windows)
Open the Start menu and search for System Information. Under System Summary you'll find your system manufacturer and model.
You can also check the label or engraving on the underside of the laptop, where it may be called Model, Product Number, Service Tag, or similar.
One thing to watch: two laptops with the same model name can ship with completely different processors, memory, and storage — and those differences affect your quote. Have those specs handy too.
Mobile hotspot
Check the hotspot's About or Device Information screen — most display the model name or number there.
Inseego MiFi devices show it under Menu > About. NETGEAR Nighthawk hotspots print the model/SKU on the product label, often under the battery or on the original box. Locations vary by manufacturer.
Headphones and earbuds
Look for the model name or number on the headphones themselves, the charging case, or in the manufacturer's companion app.
For AirPods: Settings > Bluetooth, tap the information button next to your AirPods, and look for Model Number. For other brands, check the charging case, inside the earcup or headband, or the app.
Speakers
Check the bottom or back of the speaker for a product label with the model name or number. Some brands also show it in their app under Product Information, Technical Information, or similar.
Use the model number printed on the product itself where you can — the Bluetooth name isn't always reliable.
Calculators
Start with the model name printed on the front, like TI-84 Plus CE. There's often more product info on the back.
On supported TI graphing calculators you can find the Product ID by pressing ON > 2nd > + (MEM) > 1: About. Handy for identification, but note it's a different thing from the model name.
Drones
Look for the model name or number on the drone, its product label, or the original packaging. The manufacturer's flight app works too.
For DJI drones on DJI Fly: Profile > More > Flight Records shows the product model alongside each flight record. The flight-controller serial number is under Camera View > ··· > About > Serial Number.
My device won't turn on
You can still identify most devices without powering them on.
iPhone and iPad: Find the model number beginning with "A." Depending on the model it's printed on the back, inside the SIM tray opening, or inside the charging port. On some newer iPads it's inside the USB-C or Lightning connector. Enter that number on Apple's Identify your iPhone model or Identify your iPad model page.
MacBook: The serial number is printed on the underside near the regulatory markings. Apple lets you look up the exact model from the serial number.
Everything else: Check the product label, the original box, or the manufacturer's support site.
Device details & settings
Once you know which device you have, these are the details we'll ask about — and the steps to take before you send it.
Two things worth knowing: make sure you're reading the device's internal storage, not iCloud, Google Drive, or an SD card. And Wi-Fi-only devices generally don't have an IMEI at all.
How do I check my battery health?
Battery health affects your quote, so it's worth checking before you start.
- iPhone 15 or later
-
Settings > Battery > Battery Health
You'll see maximum capacity and whether service is recommended.
- iPhone 14 and earlier
-
Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging
Same two figures, under a slightly different menu name.
- Google Pixel 8a or later
-
Settings > Battery > Battery health
Google notes that Pixel 6a, Pixel 7/7 Pro/7a, and Pixel 8/8 Pro don't report battery health the same way.
- Samsung Galaxy
-
Samsung Members app > Support > Phone diagnostics > Battery status
Samsung reports condition as Normal, Weak, or Bad rather than a percentage.
Other Android manufacturers all handle this differently, so there's no single universal method.
How do I find my carrier?
If you're not sure which carrier to select, first check whether your phone is unlocked. If it's unlocked, select Unlocked. If it's carrier locked, select the carrier it's locked to.
- iPhone
-
Settings > General > About
Your current carrier is listed here. Scroll down to Carrier Lock — if it says "No SIM restrictions," your iPhone is unlocked.
- Samsung Galaxy
-
Settings > About phone > Status information > SIM card status
Your current carrier is listed under Network. For additional carrier information, check Software information > Service provider software version.
- Motorola
-
Settings > About phone > SIM status
On some newer models this sits under Device details instead. Select the SIM if needed to view its network information.
- OnePlus
-
Settings > About device > Status > SIM card status
The exact wording may vary slightly depending on your OxygenOS version.
- Other Android
-
Settings > About phone > SIM status
Look for Network. Menu names may vary by manufacturer.
Keep in mind that the carrier shown in Settings may reflect the SIM or eSIM currently installed and may not be the carrier the phone was originally sold by. If you're unsure, contact your carrier with the phone's IMEI and ask them to confirm.
How do I know if my phone is unlocked?
iPhone: Settings > General > About, find Carrier Lock. If it reads "No SIM restrictions," you're unlocked.
Android: There's no single reliable menu for this. Your options: call the carrier with the phone's IMEI and ask, or try activating a SIM or eSIM from another compatible carrier — if it activates, the phone isn't locked. Phones bought through a carrier often stay locked until that carrier's unlocking requirements are met.
How do I turn off Find My iPhone and Activation Lock?
Find My iPhone must be off before you send your device.
Go to Settings > [your name] > Find My > Find My iPhone, tap the switch to turn it off, and enter your Apple Account password. That automatically removes Activation Lock.
Already shipped it or no longer have it in hand? You can remove it from your account through Find My on iCloud.com.
How do I remove a Google account or FRP lock?
Remove your Google Account before you factory reset — doing it in the other order causes problems.
Go to Settings > Passwords & accounts, select your Google Account, and tap Remove account. Depending on your Android version or manufacturer, that menu may be called Users & accounts, Manage accounts, or Passwords, passkeys & accounts.
Removing the account turns off Google's device protection — Factory Reset Protection, or FRP. Now you can factory reset normally.
If the device has already been reset and is asking for a previously synced Google Account, you'll need to sign in with an account that was associated with it. No access to that account? Use Google's account-recovery process before sending the device.
No results for that search. Try another word, or contact us — a real person will help.
